Fresh off the release of its inaugural expansion, New World, Amazon Games is embracing the spooky season with the much-anticipated return of the Nightveil Hollow event in October. This year’s iteration promises fresh rewards, an engaging event quest, and the revival of the formidable Baalphazu.

Mark your calendars for the event’s revival, commencing on October 18th and continuing through November 14th. Dive into the event quest to earn enticing rewards and, of course, immerse yourself in the Halloween spirit by donning costumes and embarking on the age-old tradition of trick-or-treating for candy.

Costumes can be acquired as town centerpieces or through drops from Baalphazu. The event offers a choice of costumes, including Captain Thorpe, Adiana, Anubian Reaver, and Lost Monarch.

Once you’re in costume, the hunt begins as you scour each town for hidden treat baskets. Discovering these baskets grants you the chance to obtain Baalphazu armor pieces, Nightveil Tokens, and a new addition for this year – candy. There are four distinct types of candy to uncover, and they are time-limited consumables. It’s a delightful surprise to see how these treats impact your experience, as System Designer Joel Clift hints, “Some may greatly aid you in event activities, while others might bring unexpected consequences. I’m eager to witness the stories and interactions that arise from these small additions.”

Baalphazu returns, accompanied by his loyal minions, the Pumpkinites, and stands as a formidable level 66 world boss. Join forces with Salvatore the Mad in the quest to vanquish the Pumpkinites and their leader to reap rich rewards and even more potential treasures. You can tackle this event as many times as you desire until it resets at 5:00 a.m., although there are limits on certain rewards. You can obtain up to five new armor pieces daily and up to three costumes daily. Additionally, Baalphazu will drop ichor.

Upon completing the Nightveil Hallow quest, you’ll be rewarded with:

• 5 Nightveil Tokens.
• 2 Random Nightveil Hallow weapon patterns.
• Access to the Nightveil Sentinel section of the Event Shop.

Once you’ve achieved this, you’ll gain access to the event shop, where you can exchange ichor with Salvatore for a Nightveil Cauldron Cache. This cache contains numerous tokens, a random Night Vale Hollow weapon pattern, a coin bag, and more.

Make good use of your tokens at the event shop to acquire an array of new and returning rewards, which encompass a new emote, weapon patterns, gear skins, a Basket of Treats housing item, and various furniture items – Remember, New World Gold is important too..
